SmartDrive Systems Names Steve Mitgang CEO

The company’s solutions are used by public and private fleets across industries to increase operating efficiency and safety through improved driving performance. SmartDrive sells into a variety of sectors including public transit, commercial trucking, waste hauling, food and beverage delivery, and shuttle operators.

Prior to SmartDrive, Mitgang was CEO of Veoh, the Internet television company now part of Qlipso, and before that he served as Senior Vice President of Yahoo!’s advertising products, platforms, and services. His 25-year executive management career spans general management, strategic planning, branding, product management and business development for some of the country’s best-known brands, as well as enterprise software and SaaS companies.
